Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to apps and services provided by Drayton Labs, including TaskShade. By using TaskShade, you agree to use the app responsibly and in accordance with these terms.

1. Use of TaskShade

TaskShade is provided as a productivity tool for managing tasks, reminders, recurring activities and collaboration. You are responsible for how you use the app and for the content you create or share.

2. Your Content

You retain responsibility for your task titles, notes, checklists, collaborator details and any other information entered into TaskShade. If you choose to share a task, authorised collaborators may be able to view and edit the shared task content.

3. Cloud Sync and Third-Party Services

If you sign in and use cloud sync, TaskShade uses Google Firebase services to provide authentication, data synchronisation and collaboration features. Local-only use is available if you do not want task data synced to Firebase.

4. Availability

We aim to provide reliable software, but we do not guarantee that TaskShade, cloud sync or related services will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use TaskShade to store, share or distribute unlawful, harmful or abusive content. You must not attempt to misuse, interfere with or gain unauthorised access to Drayton Labs systems or Firebase-hosted data.

6. Changes to the App

Drayton Labs may update, modify or discontinue features from time to time. We aim to avoid changes that unexpectedly compromise user data.

7. No Warranty

TaskShade is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not provide guarantees that the app will meet every user need or operate without interruption.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Drayton Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of TaskShade, including loss of data, missed reminders or service interruptions.
